The Most Accurate Experts from Week 3

There was no shortage of drama in week 3. From a Super Bowl rematch that lived up to the hype to a slew of games that came down to the wire, the weekend slate delivered in a big way. If the powers that be can just keep the Tampa Bay Bucs out of the prime time schedule, we should be all set for the rest of the season.

Speaking of excitement, our expert accuracy competition has now been running for 3 weeks and we have a new expert leading the pack. Each individual week so far has had a different expert serve up the best advice. If this holds up, we’ll certainly be in store for some drama of our own as we look to crown the year’s top expert.

Let’s take a look at the top experts from week 3 as well as how the Year-to-Date Leaderboard is shaping up.

Kudos to Dawgmatica (Pyromaniac) for topping week 3’s leaderboard. As the highest rated expert, Dawgmatica came through with several RB hits that likely propelled fantasy owners to success. He was among a group of just five experts that gave Knile Davis (132 yards, 1 TD) a top 5 RB ranking. He also did a nice job of spotting Jeremy Hill (+16 rank spots above consensus) as a RB2-level sleeper. Hill cashed in on a TD for the 2nd straight game, which made him a solid week 3 sneaky start. On the flip side, Dawgmatica correctly predicted that Montee Ball and Matt Forte would flop against tough defenses. His rankings for Ball (-21 spots below consensus) and Forte (-26 spots below consensus) were both lower than every expert we monitored. He also gets credit for identifying Jeremy Maclin (8 rec, 154 yds, 1 TD) as a WR1-play against the Redskins and for touting Travis Kelce as a top 10 TE option (6 spots above the expert consensus)
