Congrats to Walter Cherepinsky (Walter Football) for putting together Week 5’s most accurate rankings. Cherepinsky’s biggest hit was ranking sleeper stud, Branden Oliver, ahead of every expert (123 total) monitored. His rank (RB #34) for Oliver was 22 spots ahead of the expert consensus and served as a clear recommendation to consider the Chargers’ rookie as a Flex play. Cherepinsky was also higher than all but 3 experts on another sleeper RB: Pierre Thomas (+14 rank spots vs. consensus). Thomas netted fantasy owners 2 TDs and 112 total yards. Walter Football’s rankings placed Thomas squarely in the surprise RB2 category. Cherepinsky also had a nice sleeper hit with Mohamed Sanu. He slotted the Bengals’ wideout (his WR #27) above every expert in week 5. Sanu rewarded that faith by hauling in 5 receptions for 70 yards and a TD. Cherepinsky rounded out his picks with a good decision to give Greg Olsen a lofty #3 TE ranking. No expert went higher for the Panthers’ TE and Olsen delivered for fantasy owners by grabbing 2 TDs.
