Best DraftKings Plays for Week 15

Even at a high cost, T.Y. Hilton should be in your Daily lineup

Even at a high cost, T.Y. Hilton should be in your Daily lineup

What a season it’s been and although this isn’t the last week, DraftKings is hosting its final Millionaire Maker contest for the fantasy football season. This is your last shot at winning $1 million dollars so take a plunge now or miss out on what could be a life changing day.

As with each week that the experts have participated in the Millionaire Maker, we have asked the top finishing experts to name one player that they’d be deploying across all of their Daily lineups. With this advice at your side, take a shot at the million and your chances certainly won’t be hurt considering these experts have done well all season long.

3_MM_DK_710x40T.Y. HILTON (WR, IND) – $8,000
“Hilton comes at a premium, but that cost still looks like a solid investment. The Colts have never lost at home to Houston and can sew up the AFC South with a victory. Meanwhile the Texans have never had any luck covering Hilton, who averages over 6 receptions, 122 yards and 1.2 touchdowns in five career meetings with the Texans. Look for another huge game in this final Millionaire Maker.”
– Jody Smith (Gridiron Experts)

“Hilton loves seeing Houston on the schedule. His last 5 games against them have produced incredible lines of 9-223-1, 8-78, 7-121-3, 4-111-1 and 3-78-1. Hilton’s also caught fire of late with 6 TDs over his last 6 games.”
Kevin English (Draft Sharks)

MATT FORTE (RB, CHI) – $9,000
“Le’Veon Bell might be the highest owned RB this week, but If I had to choose one to build a lineup around, it would be Matt Forte. Forte’s matchup against the Saints is real juicy especially with Bears star WR Brandon Marshall out for the rest of the season. The Saints are tied for the division lead, and I think they should have little problem moving the ball against this Bears defense. This is the 3rd highest total of the week, but in my opinion will be the highest scoring game. Forte is tied for 4th in the NFL with 86 receptions and at 1 point per catch, he should hit decent return even if he does not get into the end zone. I also believe Forte has the higher ceiling this week over Bell as Atlanta ranks dead last in the NFL against the pass, and I trust Big Ben a lot more than I do Jay Cutler. There is a lot of great value sitting out there this week, so I think this is the week where you need to have that player who has 40-50 FPS on your team if you want to contend for the big money.”
Sean Beazley (EDSFootball)

JORDAN MATTHEWS (WR, PHI) – $5,600
“Matthews only has 10 targets in his last 2 games. One game was due to game score and a high volume of runs. The second game was due to only 18+ minutes of offense. He has 5 TDs in his last 6 games with two 100 yard receiving games. In Week 13, he had 4 catches for 51 and 1 TD against the Cowboys on 5 targets. CB Brandon Carr is one of the weaker CBs in the league (44/73 for 735 with 6 TDs). Solid matchup with multi TD upside.”
Shawn Childs (scoutPro)

KYLE ORTON (QB, BUF) – $5,500
“Outside of sure thing Matt Ryan, the only other quarterback I’m even considering this week is Kyle Orton. Orton’s matchup against Green Bay is rock solid. Even the depressing combination of Geno Smith, Christian Ponder, Mark Sanchez and Teddy Bridgewater has averaged 18.1 points per game against the Packers this year. The Packers have given up multiple touchdown passes to 7 of the last 8 teams they’ve faced. Orton himself has been serviceable all season with bad games coming only against Cleveland and Miami’s tough defenses. He’s shredded the Jets twice as expected and has been extremely reliable in good matchups thus far. Assuming Rodgers and company run up the score as per the usual, Orton will be throwing a ton of passes to keep up. It’s clear that the Bills aren’t scared to let that happen as evidenced by his 57 attempts last Sunday. You can do a heck of a lot worse than putting him in your lineups at a measly $5,500 and he’ll likely have a low ownership rate this week in GPPs which is just an added bonus.”
Sean Morris (Bruno Boys)

MARQISE LEE (WR, JAC) – $3,600
“Lee has had an added role in the offense due to Allen Robinson’s injury, and we’ve seen rookie WRs tear it up all year. The Ravens secondary hasn’t looked the same since they’ve lost Jimmy Smith. I’m anticipating heavy usage of Marquess Wilson in the same price range, which could make this a contrarian pick you can use to separate yourself from the field.”
