Week 2 will go down as one of the strangest weeks in recent memory when it comes to crazy endings, surprising ineptitude (Eagles, Colts?) and other bizarre occurrences you don’t usually anticipate. Heck, on Sunday night James Jones had a touchdown waived off because his “right buttock” was out of bounds. Yup, these were wacky times.
Of course, this means it was also a tricky week for the experts to predict. More than a fair share came out looking pretty good with their advice, however. Below are the 10 experts who navigated the uncertainty better than the rest. As always, you can check out the entire standings in our accuracy section.

Congrats to the crew at ScoutFantasy (previously known as FFToolbox) for producing week 2’s best advice. Scout had the most accurate RB rankings and the quality picks started at the top. They were the only site to give week 2’s best fantasy RB, DeAngelo Williams (92 yards, 3 TDs), a top 5 ranking. They showed some foresight by downgrading one of Sunday’s biggest busts: Jeremy Hill (2 fumbles). Hill delivered just .1 (yes, “decimal point” one) fantasy points for owners and ScoutFantasy had him ranked lower (-10 spots vs. consensus) than every other expert we monitored. By distancing themselves from Hill, it stands to reason that Scout was high on Giovani Bernard (139 total yards). They were one of only 4 sites to slot Gio as a top 20 RB-play. That faith was rewarded with Gio’s first 100 yard rushing output in nearly a year. At WR, Scout had a number of hits on high-profile busts. Their rank (WR #40) for Mike Evans (0 fantasy points) was lower than all but 1 expert and they correctly predicted that DeAndre Hopkins (slotted 30 spots below consensus) would be held in check at Carolina. They rounded out the strong advice by delivering the 2nd highest ranking (TE #15) for the week’s best fantasy TE: Crockett Gillmore (2 TDs).
