Week 4 fantasy points were at a premium. By far the weakest total output of the 2015 season thus far, we welcome Week 5 hoping for a more plentiful surplus of fantasy points. I believe we will see it. This week will feature high fantasy totals from all positions and we can all expect the high octane offenses to be on par this week. Brace for a high-scoring matchup in all formats. Now, lets dive into the bold predictions for Week 5.

Quarterback
Blake Bortles – JAX @ TB
Closing in on 1,000 total passing yards through four weeks coupled with a 2:1 touchdown to interception ratio, many fantasy owners are pleasantly surprised with the performance of Bortles. A face-off with the Buccaneers’ defense could bear fruit for the UCF product. With the emerging “Allen Brothers” split out wide, I expect Bortles to play within himself this week. Using precision and creativity, he will carve the up Tampa Bay secondary, leading to a top six finish at the quarterback position.
Prediction: Blake Bortles finishes as top six quarterback.
Running Back
Dion Lewis – NE @ DAL
Fresh off a bye week in which Lewis inked a two-year extension with the defending champions, the shifty running back is poised for a big game against the Cowboys in Dallas. Lewis is averaging 108 total yards and five receptions per contest. This is the same Dallas defense that allowed Devonta Freeman to scamper for 193 total yards and three touchdowns. A game in which New England should be playing with the lead, I expect Lewis to carry the rock a ton, and finish with stellar numbers.
Prediction: Dion Lewis outscores Matt Forte, Mark Ingram, Eddie Lacy, Justin Forsett and Jeremy Hill.
Wide Receiver
All NFL Wide Receivers
To continue with my prediction of Week 5 yielding plenty fantasy points, I predict six receivers to finish with over 150 receiving yards. The most we’ve seen in a single week so far is three, and I am on board with that total doubling to six.
Prediction: Six receivers finish with over 150 receiving yards.
