DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice: Wednesday November 4
Kyle Lowry can provide the production of a top PG at a reduced price

Kyle Lowry can provide the production of a top PG at a reduced price

The NBA features 10 games Wednesday night, including some marquee matchups that have the potential for plenty of scoring. The headline of the evening is the matchup between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors. Another enticing matchup is the Toronto Raptors versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. I feature plenty of players from these two matchups in this suggested lineup.

PG – Kyle Lowry $7,900

Lowry has filled the stat sheet to start the season, but is still not priced among the top point guards. This offers an opportunity to plug a point guard into your lineup who will offer elite production but not burden the rest of your roster to the degree players like Steph Curry and Russell Westbrook will. The matchup against the Thunder is a good bet for plenty of offensive production given that each team is in the top 10 in the NBA in possessions per game and top five in points per game.

SG – Klay Thompson $7,000

Unlike Lowry, Thompson hasn’t gotten off to a hot start this season. However, we all know anytime he steps on the floor he is capable of being a difference-maker for fantasy owners. His minutes may be limited due to a stiff back, but in all of the Warriors matchups to this point, they have had no need to push Thompson due to the big leads they have maintained over their opponents. The Clippers should push them offensively, however, with Thompson getting plenty of good looks at the basket.

SF – DeMarre Carroll $5,800

Carroll had a down game last night, but he still had a large role in the Raptors’ offense and played a ton of minutes. His shots simply weren’t falling, and a bounce-back game should be in order. I’ve already highlighted the appeal of the matchup so there should be no concern putting Carroll in your lineup.

PF – Nerlens Noel $7,000

It will be worth monitoring what the Bucks’ starting lineup looks like and who will be available to them for the game tonight. While this game doesn’t offer the pace and scoring potential of some of the others on the slate tonight, Noel will likely present a mismatch against whoever guards him. Of the several starting options for the Bucks, the only tough defensive matchup for Noel will be John Henson if he is back from injury. Noel has shown an improved offensive ability that should allow him to take advantage of the mismatch, and the floor for Noel is also high due to his elite defensive stats.

C – Enes Kanter $5,600

Kanter has seen limited minutes but has become a fantasy-relevant player. He has become a double-double threat every night, and there isn’t much more you can ask for at this cost from the center position.

G – Khris Middleton $5,600

Middleton has been inconsistent shooting the ball early on, which is a bit of a disappointment. The 76ers are a welcomed site for any team or player that has struggled offensively, and this could be a big game for Middleton.

F – Thaddeus Young $5,600

The Nets are going to be the punch line of the NBA, but there is always fantasy value to be found. Young isn’t a great contributor in any single category, but gives a little in everyone. The Hawks are a fairly stingy defense, but he should see enough minutes to be a solid contributor.

Util – Mo Williams $5,500

Until Kyrie Irving returns, Mo Williams is a fine fantasy option, though he has been somewhat inconsistent. Williams should have an active night against the Knicks, however, who have been more competitive than expected.
