Yahoo DFS NFL Lineup Advice: Week 11
You should be prepared for Gronk to smash this weekend

You should be prepared for Gronk to smash this weekend

Week 11 is the last week of the season to dodge bye weeks, and there are plenty of potential bargains to look for. Here is a suggested lineup for the slate of games.

 QB – Brock Osweiler $20

Will Brock Osweiler be one of the top fantasy QBs this week? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean he can’t return value for his price. I’m usually hunting for a bargain at the quarterback position and Osweiler presents great opportunity this week even with the Bears’ defense overachieving.

RB1 – Charcandrick West $22

West relied on a big play to get the majority of his fantasy production last week, but if he can be productive against Denver he can certainly be productive against San Diego. The picks at running back are getting slim and to get his guaranteed touches at this price is a steal.

RB2 – Jonathan Stewart $25

Stewart has received at least 20 carries in each of his past five games, giving him a safe floor as an RB2. He doesn’t always post eye-popping stats, but Washington gives up lots of yards on the ground. Carolina should end up ahead in this game and be in the position to hand the ball off to Stewart to ice it.

WR1 – Dez Bryant $31

Much has been made of Bryant’s health this week, and while admittedly I’m not a doctor, I’m not buying into the concerns. His targets have either stayed the same or increased each week since his return and now he gets Tony Romo back as his quarterback. There is still talk (as with anything Cowboys related) that the Cowboys can win the NFC East, so if it’s that in their plans it’s time to start showing up. If they have success, Bryant will be a big part of it.

WR2 – Sammy Watkins $25

This is my least favorite pick of this roster, but Buffalo is going to have to throw to keep up with New England. When Watkins has received targets, his fantasy production has been that of a WR2 overall. There is plenty of risk here, however, as we know few teams, if any, are better than New England at game planning and eliminating top offensive threats of their opponents.

WR3 – Jordan Matthews $24

I’ve been avoiding Matthews like the plague this season, but everyone should remember his performance when Mark Sanchez took over as the quarterback last season. Tampa Bay has allowed has allowed 19 receiving touchdowns to opposing offenses this season, third most in the NFL, with only Cleveland and New Orleans allowing more. We haven’t seen Matthews put it all together much this season, but I like his chances of doing it Sunday.

TE – Rob Gronkowski $28

Gronkowski should see even more targets with the injury to Julian Edelman. Even if the Bills can’t keep it close this week, Bill Belichick showed no mercy in Week 2 against the Bills and kept throwing the ball until very late in the game. This means you better prepare for the Gronk smash this week.

Flex – Andre Ellington $14

Carries are a tough thing to come by for Ellington, but his strong performance last week shows he still has his explosiveness. The Bengals’ defense has been able to hide behind the team’s strong offensive production, but that probably won’t be the case Sunday night. Either way, I like Ellington’s chances to make some big plays, which makes him a decent flex option.

Def – Minnesota Vikings $10

The Packers’ offense has clearly proven it isn’t the caliber it was expected to be. Therefore, there is no longer a need to avoid defensive matchups against them. The Vikings are one of the best defenses in the league but still seem to receive a discount for their matchup against the Packers, so I like them this week.
