Here’s a look at DraftKings lineup advice for Monday, Feb. 8 DFS contests.

POINT GUARD
Kyrie Irving (Opponent – SAC, $7,200) (Proj. Pts – 38.76)
Irving gets a pretty dramatic usage bump with Love on the sidelines. Even if Love returns Monday, Irving still has a solid matchup. The Kings are allowing 108.5 points on 45.7 percent shooting and also have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season. Irving is averaging 17.8 points and four assists per game. He’s a very safe play in cash games.
SHOOTING GUARD
E’Twaun Moore (Opponent – CHA, $4,900) (Proj. Pts – 32.45)
With both Jimmy Butler and Nikola Mirotic out, the Bulls needed someone to step up, and Moore has delivered. Moore is the top guy at the position for tonight’s games considering salary and expected return. The Hornets have really struggled to defend shooting guards this season. They have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards.
SMALL FORWARD
Nicolas Batum (Opponent – CHI, $6,700) (Proj. Pts – 41.23)
He has been involved in nearly every Hornets’ possession in the last two games, averaging 42.5 minutes 23.5 points, 8.5 boards, and 8.5 assists in the process. He is one of the safest plays in every fantasy format, no matter who he’s going against. Batum will benefit greatly tonight with Jimmy Butler being out. The Bulls have been very generous to opposing SFs this season. They have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing SFs.
POWER FORWARD
Taj Gibson (Opponent – CHA, $5,800) (Proj. Pts – 36.34)
He’s found some consistency lately by providing his typical outstanding work on the glass and on defense. With both Jimmy Butler and Nikola Mirotic out, Gibson will continues to play heavy minutes. The Hornets ranks 24th against PFs this season.
CENTER
Nikola Jokic (Opponent – BKN, $6,500) (Proj. Pts – 39.82)
Jokic appears to have grabbed the majority of center minutes for the Nuggets. I’m always a little skeptical of situations like this. But if you think Nikola is slotted in for minutes around 30 then he’s a fantastic play against the Nets who come in well below average against opposing centers this season. He has the potential to continue providing outstanding production on the scoreboard and the glass.
GUARD
George Hill (Opponent – LAL, $5,700) (Proj. Pts – 37.89)
The Los Angeles Lakers have been very generous to opposing PGs this season. He is averaging 27 fantasy points in his last four home games and that’s exactly what we need from him to pay value tonight. We expect even more from Hill tonight.
FORWARD
Thaddeus Young (Opponent – DEN, $6,700) (Proj. Pts – 38.33)
The Nuggets have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards this season. He has received at least 35 minutes in each of the past three games and averaged 18 points and 13 rebounds.
UTILITY
Gorgui Dieng (Opponent – NO, $6,500) (Proj. Pts – 36.42)
He is averaging 37 minutes and 35 fantasy points per game. I like his floor tonight only for cash games. His price tag is a little high to play him in GPP contests.
