POINT GUARD

J.J. Barea (DAL): $6,800 vs. MEM (Proj. Pts – 34.34)
In the biggest game of the season for the Mavs, the shortest guy on the court came up the biggest. Barrea had 27 points and eight assists, and shot 10-of-16 from the field. They needed every point they got from Barrea. He was 10-of-16 from the field and made all three free throws for a dazzling 77.9 true shooting percentage. Barea won Western Conference Player of the Week last week and has led the Mavs to a five-game winning streak. Barea should be locked everywhere in cash games or GPP contests.

Kemba Walker (CHA): $7,900 vs. BKN (Proj. Pts – 37.34)
Walker led Charlotte with 34 points on 7-of-10 from three-point range against the New York Knicks. The Hornets are averaging 10.5 triples (fourth in the league) on 36.0 percent shooting (eighth in the league). Kemba’s offense is a major part of that success, and he even rounded out last game line with five boards, two assists and two steals. Great spot for him tonight against The Nets.

SHOOTING GUARD

DeMar DeRozan (TOR): $8,100 vs. IND (Proj. Pts – 39.23)
The Raptors have won two of three meetings against the Pacers this season. In their most recent showdown on March 17, the Raptors beat the Pacers 101-94 in overtime. Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with 28 points apiece. George Hill and Paul George led Indiana with 18 points apiece. Toronto is 30-9 at home this season. I don’t expect them to lose to Indiana. George should be terrific but it won’t be enough. This should be an easy matchup for DeRozan, and he should be locked in your cash games and GPP lineup.

Jeremy Lin (CHA): $4,500 vs. BKN (Proj. Pts – 32.54)
There’s a big chance Lin will earn another start. Nicolas Batum is going to be a game-time call, and if he can’t play both Walker and Lin make sense as potential DFS targets with a favorable matchup against the Nets. The Hornets have won all three meetings against the Nets this season. In their most recent meeting on March 22, the Hornets beat the Nets 105-100. Batum led the Hornets with 23 points on 4-of-9 from three-point range. Keep an eye on Batum, and if he can’t play then lock Lin. The great news is this game starts at 7:00 pm EST so we will have an early update before lock time.

SMALL FORWARD

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL): $9,700 vs. BOS (Proj. Pts – 41.78)
Antetekoumpo finished the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night with a monster stat line, posting a near triple-double in defeat. The Greek Freak scored 22 points to go along with 14 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Bucks in all three categories on the night. Khris Middleton didn’t practice on Thursday and if he can’t play tonight Antetokounmpo will continue to carry a heavy workload on offense.

Paul George (IND): $6,900 vs. TOR (Proj. Pts – 39.69)
George should be terrific tonight. The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 123-109 on Wednesday night. Indiana took control early as they led 70-61 at the half. George led the Pacers with 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting. This is a great matchup for him tonight. In the past six weeks the Toronto Raptors have given a lot of fantasy points to the small forward position. On April 2nd and 3rd both Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard went over 55 fantasy points against them. Great play for cash and GPP contests.

POWER FORWARD

Thomas Robinson (BKN): $6,600 vs. CHA (Proj. Pts – 38.23)
He now has double-doubles in five straight. In that span, Robinson averaged 15.2 points, 12.2 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.2 blocks on 55.0 percent from the field. He is getting the minutes with both Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young  shut down for the season. Great matchup for him tonight facing the Charlotte Hornets.

David West (SA): $3,600 vs. DEN (Proj. Pts – 32.67)
I expect him to start tonight. LaMarcus Aldridge hurt his finger on Thursday night and coach Gregg Popovich said after the game Aldridge is almost certainly going to rest on Friday. With the very real chance that the regulars get rested, West will get the big minuets in the best matchup for tonight’s games against the Nuggets.

CENTER

Cole Aldrich (LAC): $3,700 vs. UTA (Proj. Pts – 29.43)
DeAndre Jordan will not suit up for Friday’s game against the Jazz. I’m a huge fan of Cole Aldrich since last year when he used to play for the Knicks. He is averaging 14.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in three fill-in starts this season. He’s by far the safest play at center tonight.

Good luck tonight.
