FanDuel NBA Playoff Lineup Advice: Thursday (4/21)

Draymond Green

Draymond Green has a great matchup in tonight’s high over/under game

It’s playoff time! Let’s start by taking a look at each series: OKC/DAL & TOR/IND series are both tied at 1-1. The Warriors seem to be running away with this one against the eight seeded Rockets being up 2-0. The Warriors beat the Rockets without PG Steph Curry in Game 2. If Curry is out, Thompson and Green need to be in your lineup.  The biggest surprise of the playoffs so far might be the play of C Jonas Valanciunas. He’s a must start tonight averaging 17.5 PPG, 17.0 RPG and 1.5 BLKPG in the series.

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook (OKC): $10,500 at DAL
Russell Westbrook also falls under the category of a must start tonight with the Mavericks missing a few players due to injury. Westbrook recorded back-to-back double-doubles in this series with ease and should be in line for another or a possible triple-double. Start him!

Raymond Felton (DAL): $5,300 vs. OKC
Fresh off his double-double (21 pts/11 rebs) in Game 2, Felton is a great value play with the Mavericks crushed with injury. The following players are suffering from injury: PG J.J. Barea, PF Dirk Nowitzki, PG Deron Williams, PF David Lee and SF Chandler Parsons (already ruled out). Barea, Nowitzki, Lee and Williams are listed as questionable but I suspect them to be without maybe all of them except Nowitzki.

Shooting Guard

Klay Thompson (GS): $7,500 at HOU
Star PG Steph Curry is listed as questionable for tonight’s game and he has stated based on how he felt yesterday he wouldn’t be able to go in Game 3. Also, with a 2-0 series lead, the Warriors should be able to handle the Rockets in four or five games without Curry. This makes G Klay Thompson a must start in a favorable match-up following his 34 point performance in Game 2.

Solomon Hill (DAL): $3,800 vs. TOR
Solomon Hill finished the regular-season on a high note with a 25 point performance against the Bucks and Coach Frank Vogel hasn’t taken him out of being an important piece on this team. Hill has averaged 26.5 MPG over the two games in this series. He has two double-digit fantasy performances as well and is a value pick today with a small slate of games.

Small Forwards

Harrison Barnes (GS): $4,600 at HOU
Harrison Barnes could be asked to shoulder more offensive responsibility if PG Steph Curry does miss Game 3. Barnes is a great value pick at his price in DFS and does all the little things with at least a steal, five rebounds and an assist in each of the two games in this series.

Paul George (IND): $8,8000 vs. TOR
Paul George has been in charge of the Pacers offense and continues to produce no matter the match-up. He’s averaging 30.5 PPG, 4 RPG and 3.5 APG in this series against the Raptors. Game flow should be on his side in a close game at home for George and the Pacers.

Power Forwards

Draymond Green (GS): $9,000 at HOU
I always say to play your studs, especially in a favorable match-up. PF Draymond Green easily falls under this category as a stud with a favorable match-up. He recorded a double-double in both games in this series and is a must start in Game 3.

Patrick Patterson (TOR): $3,900 at IND
Patrick Patterson has really taken over at the PF position for the Raptors. Starting PF Luis Scola has only averaged 13 MPG in this series as Patterson has averaged 29.5 MPG. Patterson also has at least nine points and six rebounds in both games this series. He’s a great value pick in DFS at $3,900.

Center

Jonas Valanciunas (TOR): $6,500 at IND
Tonight, you have one choice at the Center position. It should be C Jonas Valanciunas. Valanciunas is averaging 17.5 PPG, 17.0 RPG and 1.5 BLKPG in the series against the Pacers. It could be an even better match-up if C, Ian Mahimi, sits. Start him with confidence!

Good Luck!
