Brief Summary

  • NYY at BAL will see a light to moderate band of steady rain move in right around scheduled first pitch. The timing of this rain is key. If it keeps the schedule mentioned above, I believe they start on time and are able to play through the rather light rain. However, if it moves in a bit earlier, there could be problems. Something to keep an eye on. LOW TO MODERATE CHANCE OF PPD/DELAY.
  • This same batch of rain will have its eye on ATL at NYM as well but should not move into the Big Apple until after they finish the game. EXTREMELY LOW CHANCE OF PPD/DELAY.
  • CHC at PIT and SF at CIN will see a scattering of light showers that should not impact the game. EXTREMELY LOW CHANCE OF PPD/DELAY.
  • Rain will be poised to move in the Windy City for BOS at CWS but should wait until after 11 PM EDT to do so. EXTREMELY LOW CHANCE OF PPD/DELAY.

Good Hitting Environment

  • No ballparks standout as favorable to the hitter due to the weather conditions.

Poor Hitting Environments

  • DET at CLE will feature both cool temperatures and dry air causing high air density.
  • ATL at NYM will see a light wind blowing in and cool temperatures.
