Wil Myers leaves game with arm injury Monday

by Mike Maher | Tue, Apr 3rd 8:34am EDT

Wil Myers left Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies with what is being described as inflammation in his triceps near the elbow. He received X-rays and an ultrasound that revealed no damage, according to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. “It got to the point where I felt I couldn’t make a good enough throw to get the ball back in,” Myers said after the game. Fantasy Impact:

Myers missed a game last season with a similar issue but said after the game that "this is worse." For now, Myers is being considered day-to-day, but a trip to the disabled list is not out of the question if his arm does not respond to rest over the next day or so. Expect him to be out of the lineup for at least the next couple of days.
