Beckham's non-tender is not unexpected, as he was projected to earn $5 million by MLBTradeRumors.com, a quite expensive salary for a backup infielder. (Alden Gonzalez)
Fantasy Impact:
Beckham, now 28, struggled in 2014 hitting only .226/.271/.348 with nine homers over 127 games for the White Sox and Angels in 2014. Depending on where Beckham ends up, quite possibly back with the Angels for a lesser contract, he might be able to find a better opportunity elsewhere.
