Michael Morse moves to Miami Marlins

1B/OF Michael Morse signed a two-year deal with the Marlins. He ended his only season in San Francisco with a .279/.336/.475 slash line with 16 home runs. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
The home runs are very misleading, as 11 came in his first 53 games. Ideally, Morse is a platoon first baseman and never sniffs left field for the Marlins. Moving from AT&T Park and into a lineup with Giancarlo Stanton can only help his fantasy value. That having been said, he has limited value outside of deep mixed and NL only leagues. He can heat up in a hurry, however, so monitor him for streaming in 2015.
