Dodgers sign P Brandon McCarthy

Fantasy Impact:
The oft-injured RHP has only pitched 200 innings once in his 9 year career. He has a career 4.09 ERA and 1.291 WHIP, but last year with the Yankees posted a 2.81 ERA and 1.151 WHIP. Much of the change was attributed to the incorporation of his four-seamer and cutter more to complement his sinker. Chavez Ravine, with the offseason moves that have upgraded the defense, could make McCarthy a cheap option to keep an eye on.
