Jake Peavy re-ups with Giants for two more years

Fantasy Impact:
This will take Peavy through his age 35 season, and may be his last contract as a pro. Peavy played well with his time in San Francisco last season, posting a 2.17 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and a moderate 6.6 K/9. After his struggles in the American League with the White Sox and the Red Sox, Peavy is likely happy to return to the friendly confines of the pitcher-friendly parks of the NL West.
