Marlins aggressively shopping Dan Haren to West Coast team

The Miami Marlins are reportedly trying to find a deal for Dan Haren to get back to the West Coast. The main teams in the mix are said to be the Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, and San Diego Padres, but the Oakland A's could be a possible landing spot too. Los Angeles Angels' GM Jerry Dipoto has openly said that he wouldn't reacquire Haren. (Bleacher Report)
Fantasy Impact:
Haren's experience and leadership makes him a good fit for the four aforementioned teams, but he'll likely only be taken by a team with a World Series shot. This puts the Giants as the front-runners, especially since they were pursuing James Shields in December. The Giants are looking for successful veteran arms and Haren fits the bill. Stay tuned.
