Tommy Milone has surgery to remove tumor

Twins pitcher Tommy Milone had surgery in early December to remove a benign tumor from his neck which had been causing him pain for a while. (St. Paul Pioneer Press)
Fantasy Impact:
The surgery was performed by Dr. Todd Lanman, a top neurosurgeon, was considered a success and he should be ready for Opening Day. Last season, Milone posted a 7.06 ERA in six outings (five starts) last season with the Twins, but his career stats are much better. He has a career ERA of 3.98 in 490 1/3 innings.
