Rangers sign former Nat Ross Ohlendorf to minor league deal

The Texas Rangers continue to add arms to their bullpen with the signing of former Washington National Ross Ohlendorf. Ohlendorf inks a minor league deal with an invitation to join the club at spring training. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The seven-year major league veteran missed all of last season with a back injury, and is not being counted on to be anything more than another arm to have in the pen. Ohlendorf has played for four different teams with his best year coming in 2009 when he went 11-10 with a 3.92 ERA for the Pirates. Pirate fans will remember he went a miserable 1-11 the next year. Fantasy value is minimal at best.
