Rangers pick up 2016 option on Adrian Beltre

The Texas Rangers picked up the option on Adrian Beltre's contract guaranteeing the third baseman will be in a Rangers uniform for the next two seasons. (www.mlb.com)

Any time contract issues can be solved prior to the start of a season, good things can be expected. Beltre is as consistent and solid a third baseman as there is in the game, and with the Rangers roster working its way back to health, expect improved HR and RBI numbers in 2015 despite his age.
