On Monday, Wade Miley went 3 innings against the Cardinals giving up 3 hits and 2 walks. He struck out 2 and didn't allow a run.
Fantasy Impact:
Wade Miley would have been a decent option for K's (184 in 201.1 IP) in 2014 if not for a 4.34 ERA and a 1.401 WHIP. The DBacks atrocious defense had something to do with that, but with an FIP at 3.98 in both 2013 and 2014 there's more to the story. Boston's infield defense should help the groundball pitcher somewhat, but you'll still want to keep an eye on Miley's walk rate this spring before taking a late round flier on him.
