The Philadelphia Phillies continue to struggle offensively in Grapefruit League play, managing just 6 hits in a 6-0 loss to the Detroit Tigers. Ryan Howard was one of the players who scuffled, going 0-for-3 with 2 strikeouts. Howard's average dipped to .250 this spring.
Fantasy Impact:
Howard has yet to have an extra-base hit this spring. His power has significantly diminished since his Achilles injury a few seasons ago. While Howard hit 23 home runs last season, his batting average plummeted and he can no longer be considered a top fantasy power threat.
