Daniel Straily bounces back in 2nd appearance

by Eric Townsend | Thu, Mar 12th 2:07pm EDT

Daniel Straily allowed three hits and one earned run in three innings of work against the Tigers. He had no walks and no strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

Straily was roughed up in his first outing this Spring, but he looked significantly better and more confident on Thursday. Straily's slider was on point, and contributed heavily to a 1-2-3 inning in the first. He doesn't strike out a lot of bats, but his control is looking closer to 2013 levels now. The fifth SP slot in the Houston rotation still seems to be his to lose, but he's only worth a flier in late rounds of deep AL-Only leagues for fantasy.
