Chase Utley goes 2-for-3 versus Red Sox

by Kerry Kauffman | Sun, Mar 15th 3:51pm EDT

The Philadelphia Phillies, who have been struggling scoring runs this spring, broke out offensive in their 11-4 win over the Boston Red Sox. Chase Utley, playing in his second Grapefruit League game, went 2-for-3 with an RBI. His batting average now stands at .600 this spring.

Fantasy Impact:

Utley looks solid at the plate in return from a sprained ankle he suffered in January. Utley should be ready to go come Opening Day and assume his usual third spot in the batting order. He'll see more days off this year to keep him fresh throughout the season. While not the force he was prior to his chronic knee condition, Utley is still one of the top offensive second baseman in the league.
