Carlos Beltran was 1-3 with a single in the Yankees win. Beltran is hitting .200 this spring.
Fantasy Impact:
Beltran only has one extra base hit this spring and still looks like he is trying to regain his strength after offseason surgery. He underwent surgery to remove bone spurs in his elbow on September 31st and the Yankees had hoped that this surgery would be a remedy for his issues. Beltran has posted a .847 OPS in his 17 year career, but he may be a depreciating player. He posted a .703 OPS last season and needs to show more firepower to be worthy of a fantasy roster spot.
