Chase Utley goes 2-for-3 in loss to Blue Jays

by Kerry Kauffman | Thu, Mar 26th 4:15pm EDT

The Phillies managed just 5 hits in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Two of those hits came off the bat of Chase Utley, who doubled and scored the only Phillies' run. Utley is hitting .375 this spring and looks ready for Opening Day.

Fantasy Impact:

Utley has been battling a sore ankle which limited him early this spring, but had shown no signs of the injury of late. Utley played in 155 games last season, but his production suffered, clearly indicating overuse. Expect Utley to play around 140 games and continue to be one of the better offensive second baseman in the National League.
