Tanner Scheppers, considered a key piece to the Rangers bullpen this year, had his second rough outing in a row as he gave up three runs in just two-thirds of an inning today. (www.mlb.com)

Scheppers saw his spring ERA rise to 6.75 after allowing three hits and three runs (two earned) before being pulled after just 2/3 inning of work. In an unusual bit of scoring, Scheppers was credited with three strikeouts, but one of the hitters ended up reaching safely on catcher Carlos Corporan's throwing error.
