Braves option CF Eury Perez to minors

Perez was seen at the beginning of camp as a strong possibility of making the final roster. The Braves are now desperate for a backup to Eric Young, who is filling in for the injured Melvin Upton. This enhances the possibilities for Todd Cunningham, who has also underwhelmed. They Braves are also looking at possible trades. (Mark Bowman)
Fantasy Impact:
While Eric Young offers value for fantasy drafters, beyond him is an underwhelming dearth of much talent. The young Cunningham still needs development so we'll be watching what the Braves do in the coming days.
