Ramon Laureano picks up a pair of hits in loss

by Jon Mathisen | Guardians Correspondent | Wed, Sep 16th 12:15pm EDT

Ramon Laureano went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles in the A's 3-1 loss to the Rockies on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

There weren't a lot of offensive fireworks in this one as Oakland only mustered six hits as a team. Laureano was the only Athletic to pick up multiple hits against Antonio Senzatela, who ended up throwing a complete game. After batting just .203 in the month of August, September has not gone much better for the center fielder as he's slashing .212/.311/.308 across 52 at-bats this month. He's rocking a .354 OBP for the season to go along with five home runs and 21 RBI but it's safe to say he hasn't followed up on his 2019 second-half breakout that had so many fantasy managers excited.
