Carlos Gomez to bat leadoff for Brewers on opening day

Carlos Gomez will begin the year as the Brewers leadoff hitter. Tom Haudricort of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal reports that Brewers manager Ron Roenicke likes Gomez batting first and that his presence elsewhere in the order may disrupt other hitters. (Tom Haudricort on Twitter)
