David Wright goes 3-for-3 versus Rangers

by Kerry Kauffman | Sat, Apr 4th 9:58am EDT

The New York Mets got 10 hits in their 5-0 win over the Texas Rangers on Saturday. David Wright was a major contributor, going 3-for-3 with a walk and an RBI to raise his Grapefruit League average to .283. Wright had struggled much of the spring but could have found his stroke as the regular season gets set to begin.

Fantasy Impact:

Wright struggled with a shoulder injury last season, which limited his power. He hit just .269 with eight home runs in 535 at bats. The shoulder hasn't appeared to be an issue this spring. Expect Wright to bounce back and regain some of his power and be a solid option at third base in most fantasy leagues.
