Russell Martin drives in two on Opening Day

Russell Martin had a productive day going 1-for-4 with two RBIs, a walk, and a run scored in the 6-1 victory over the New York Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Russell Martin's biggest strength is his ability to handle a pitching staff, which he did masterfully today helping the pitching staff limit the Yankees to one run on three hits. However it's his offensive production that fantasy owners look for and Martin didn't disappoint. Hitting second for the Jays, Martin will have opportunities to provide returns in the RBI category with Jose Reyes hitting in front of him. His power will also play well at the Rogers Centre, and with Jose Bautista providing protection in the lineup, he's going to see better pitches. Russell Martin will be a top 10 catcher in 2015.
