The Giants have scratched Jake Peavy's start due to back discomfort, as Ryan Vogelsong will take the mound in his place Tuesday. (Andrew Baggarly on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This isn't the start Peavy was hoping for, and any back issues for a veteran pitcher are concerning. But at this point the team is hopeful he'll return for the weekend, likely Sunday according to Baggarly. Certainly monitor the situation, but hopefully Peavy is able to return without further issue.
