Adam LaRoche and the White Sox could not have imagined a worse Opening Day. The White Sox lost to the Royals 10-1 on Monday. LaRoche did not help the team as he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. The team had a combined batting avg of .179.
Fantasy Impact:
Adam LaRoche is going to have games like this, but he still holds low-end value as a DH or first baseman. He has a career average of over 20 HRs and just under 70 RBIs per season. Do not panic yet, this is a long season and LaRoche will hit his career averages. Look for LaRoche and the Sox to bounce back against the Royals on Wednesday.
