Angels starter C.J. Wilson silenced the Seattle lineup on Tuesday by throwing eight shutout innings with an efficient 96 pitches. The southpaw allowed two hits and one walk with two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
After a 2014 where Wilson tallied a woeful 4.51 ERA and 1.45 WHIP, Angels fans and fantasy players were desperate for this type of performance to kick off 2015. His next start is on Sunday, April 12th against the Royals, a team that has scored 17 runs in their first two games. Maybe weekly league owners should give him a spot on the bench if they are ahead in match-ups that end on Sunday...
