Carlos Beltran picks up his first hit of the season

Carlos Beltran finished Thursday's loss to the Blue Jays 1-for-4 with a double and two strikeouts. The double was Beltran's first hit of the young season.

Batting out of the three-hole, the Yankees are expecting Carlos Beltran to rebound from a disappointing 2014 season. Beltran battled a bone spur in his elbow last season and is hoping to get in a groove as the season gets going. Beltran is being dropped everywhere so if he starts swinging a hot bat, he could be an option off the waiver wire.
