Jim Johnson notches first save of young season against Mets

by Steve Painter | Sat, Apr 11th 11:07pm EDT

It took 16 pitches to get through the ninth inning, but 11 of those were strikes, and he held the Mets scoreless in the final frame. A few of his pitches were a little wild but it is good that Johnson is working to recover from a disappointing 2014.

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson will serve mostly in the setup role for Jason Grilli this year. He and the Braves had to be encouraged by the results tonight. He is only useful in leagues that reward Holds for now.
