Brett Gardner leaves Monday's game after HBP

Brett Gardner was hit on the wrist by a pitch on Monday night against the Orioles and left the game. X-rays came back negative, but Gardner is not in the lineup on Tuesday. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Although Gardner stayed in the game initially, he told manager Joe Girardi the team would be better off with someone else hitting after the wrist tightened up. Stephen Drew pinch hit and hit a go-ahead grand slam to propel the Yankees to victory. The injury isn't expected to sideline Gardner long so keep an eye out on Wednesday to see if Gardy returns to the starting lineup.
