Victor Martinez strikes out in pinch-hit appearance

Martinez looked rough in his at-bat against the hard-throwing Arquimedes Caminero. His surgically repaired knee is still limiting his swing. He will likely remain a pinch-hitting role as he is not a fielding option in the Tiger's finale against Pittsburgh on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
It will take more time for Victor to heal. He has yet to hit for extra bases and has only driven in three runs. He's simply not healthy, and doesn't appear to be a viable fantasy option right now. He could turn it on at any given moment, so there is no reason to give up on him yet.
