Fernando Rodney blows save opportunity

Another save was blown Tuesday by Fernando Rodney who has struggled to find outs early this season. Rodney was also not able to close out the game in Sunday's contest, but eventually received the win after the Mariners offense bailed him out. Rodney was not as lucky this time around as he blew a 5-4 lead going into the ninth inning to receive the loss. Three hits, two walks, and two earned runs were surrendered by Rodney.
Fantasy Impact:
This was the second poor outing in a row for Rodney. Right now there has been no word that he is in danger of losing the closing job. But one has to wonder how long he will last if he continues to let this many men on base. Danny Farquhar is most likely next in line to get save opportunities if Rodney were to eventually lose the job.
