Paul Goldschmidt hits home run in second consecutive game

by Tony Pontecorvo | Cardinals Correspondent | Fri, Apr 17th 3:03am EDT

Paul Goldschmidt hit a home run for the second consecutive night, this time a three-run shot off World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner. He now has four on the year. He also scored what proved to be the winning run in extra innings after being intentionally walked.

Fantasy Impact:

Although the one-for-five night was not ideal, Goldschmidt made the most of the "one", driving in three, plus scoring twice. He is still hitting .324 for the (very young) season and has homered off Clayton Kershaw and now Bumgarner, among others.
