Alcides Escobar injured in Royals win

Alcides Escobar was injured on a hard slide by the Athletics Brett Lawrie in the seventh inning of the Royals victory on Friday night. Lawrie seemed to go into second base with his cleats up, which led to Escobar being helped off the field by the Royals trainers. (espn.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Escobar has been go to option for fantasy owners who need an everyday shortstop, so this may change some lineups for the next few days. His status will need to be monitored day to day.
