Zack Greinke allows three earned runs in a win

by Stan Son | Sun, Apr 19th 12:16am EDT

Zack Greinke earned his second win of the season Saturday night against the Colorado Rockies. He pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowed three earned runs, walked one, and struck out three.

Fantasy Impact:

This wasn't the sharpest game for Greinke. He threw two wild pitches and only 63 of 103 pitches were thrown for strikes. In the first inning, he allowed a double, a single, and hit a batter but was able to escape only giving up one earned run. He cruised the rest of the game until the seventh when he was approaching the 100 pitch mark. After Mattingly came out for a visit, he struck out Hundley then allowed a two-run home run to LeMahieu. Even when Greinke is not at his best, he is still freaking good. He's set up for a huge season.
