Ryan Braun broke up a shutout in the ninth inning Monday night for Milwaukee, smacking a solo home run to right center field, his first of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
It's nice to see Braun hit the ball with some authority, considering the weak contact plague has afflicted the Brewers' clubhouse since Opening Day. Unfortunately, the lone run had virtually no bearing on the game, but it proves that Braun still has some pop in his bat. It's a promising sign for fantasy owners banking on a bounceback.
