Mark Teixeira blasts his fourth home run of the year

Mark Teixeira took a low Alfredo Simon splitter and lofted it over the right field fence in the second inning to provide the Yankees with their only offense in their 2-1 loss to Detroit on Monday. Teixeira finished the game 1-for-4 with the home run.
Fantasy Impact:
Mark Teixeira now has four home runs and nine RBI to begin the year, pretty solid April numbers. Owners should be wary though as he is hitting just .190 on the season. Teixeira has had well documented struggles over the past several years and is looking to get back to his old ways. While it appears he will provide some power numbers, hitting .190 isn't going to cut it for most owners.
