Carlos Beltran was 0-for-3 on Monday, including two strikeouts, in the Yankees 2-1 loss to Detroit.
Fantasy Impact:
Carlos Beltran is now hitting a pedestrian .171 in the second year of his three-year deal with the Yankees. He has struck out 11 times in 41 at-bats and just doesn't seem like himself. The only positive numbers he has produced are his four doubles, of his seven total hits, and six RBI. Owners need to find an alternative to Beltran until he is able to regain he stroke, assuming he does. At this point, anybody is pretty much a better option.
