In a game that The Rangers won 7-1, Prince Fielder went 2-for-5 with a home run and 3 RBI. He is now batting; .386/.435/.944 with 1 home run, 9 RBI and 0 stolen bases.
Fantasy Impact:
Looking at his lack of home runs you may have been under the impression that Fielder was struggling but in fact he has been the best Ranger so far. He has been smoking the ball and it is great to see his power coming to life. He is off to a great start and if he hits for more power, he will get even better. He is currently having a bounce back season and it wold be a great idea to target him on the trade market, but at this point it will be very difficult.
