Phillies ace Cole Hamels managed to get through 6 innings without allowing a run against the Miami Marlins while striking out 6 in his fourth star of the young season.
Fantasy Impact:
Hamel's ability to silence the Marlins bats was very encouraging for owners, especially since the Marlins failed to take Hamels deep. The WHIP is still uncomfortably high for a starter who was supposed to anchor fantasy staffs, but for now fantasy owners should be focused on the fact that this was a step in the right direction.
