Brett Gardner was 2-for-4 on Friday night in the Yankees 6-1 win over the Mets. Gardner added a run in the contest and raised his average to .304.
Fantasy Impact:
Since returning to the lineup following a HBP on the wrist a week ago, Gardner has been hitting the ball well and producing for his fantasy owners. He has swiped five bags, scored 12 runs and has a .396 OBP on the year. He is not a top-of-the-line fantasy star but is consistent enough to leave in your lineup everyday without any second thought.
