Jeff Samardzija received a five game suspension from Major League Baseball on Saturday. Samardzija was right in the middle of the fracas between the White Sox and Royals on Thursday night. (Scott Merkin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
In reality, five games is not too bad. If he chooses to appeal the suspension, he will likely just have his next start pushed back a day or two after the appeal is decided.
